Introduction
AbleGamers Charity needed a fresh brand identity to better represent their mission and values. Combating isolation through play.
The Challenge
The existing brand identity was outdated and did not effectively communicate AbleGamers' mission of combating isolation through play. The joystick reminds people of retro gaming but doesn't represent the modern, inclusive approach of the organization.

AbleGamers' current logo and wordmark.
The Approach
I looked into different symbols that can replace the joystick so that the meaning behind of the brand remains the same but modernized to fit organization in modern times. I found that the Microsoft Xbox Adaptive Controller to be the best suitable symbol to help represent the inclusive approach of the organization but combined with the symbol of infinity to represent the ongoing commitment to accessibility. The chosen font was selected to help pair with the symbol to create a cohesive look and feel for the brand, making it feel more gaming-centered and to also continue to remain easy to read and accessible to the general audience.
